Mario is haunted by the past in which he lost his brother, Luigi, who died trying to hold back a horde of violent ghosts and zombies before they could break out of his mansion. With a familiar threat returning, Mario must come to terms with who he is, and save the Mushroom Kingdom with help from old and new allies alike.
