Metal Sonic has gone rogue, just went super and stole the Master Emerald, bringing Angel Island to its knees. Sonic knows he can't do this alone. So he calls literally everyone that was in the Resistance in Sonic Forces, and reuniting with Princess Sally and the Freedom Fighters. Along the way, he also runs into his brother and sister Manic and Sonia, whom he has not seen since they stopped searching for their mother. But Eggman has returned as well, and so has his old Badniks like Scratch and Grounder! Throuhout this adventure, Sonic tries to propose to Amy but can never find the chance to do so. Will Metal Sonic win? Or will Sonic have finally lost??
