Synopsis

In a future where humanity has colonized multiple star systems, a notorious mercenary named Kaine, known for his ruthless efficiency, is hired by a powerful corporation to retrieve a mysterious artifact from a distant planet. The artifact holds the key to unlocking unimaginable power, and whoever possesses it could reshape the galaxy. As Kaine sets out on his mission, he crosses paths with a rebel group fighting against the oppressive control of the corporations. Led by a charismatic leader named Selene, the rebels believe that the artifact must be destroyed to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands. Unbeknownst to Kaine, the artifact is not just a source of power but also a gateway to an ancient civilization that once ruled the galaxy.
