Samus Aran, a troubled and mysterious bounty-hunter, is a hired hunter, killer, and occasionally collector for her clients, no questions asked. However, when she is abducted and hired by the Galactic Federation to retrieve a stolen alien parasite specimen from an attacked laboratory on the planet Zebes, Samus is forced to come to terms with her past as she navigates her way through the chambers beneath the planet she used to live on with her scientist parents before they were killed back when she was a child. On top of the haunting isolation, Samus's darkest fears are lurking in the darkness, waiting to greet her.
