Do everything the same with minor changes and with J.J. directing all 3 films, then have Plagueis as the villain for Episode IX C.) Pull from a what if scenario from an event in the OG ST, then go from there D.) Do Heir To The Empire (which we'll probably get fairly soon) E.) Adapt George Lucas's ST

batmanfan662 Honestly I disagree with Luke Skywalker dieing in the film is because Luke Skywalker is the most Important Character ever and fans are going to be disappointed with the idea.

user_156067 Also, some extra change suggestions, if you want them... 1.) Mara Jade (played by Julianne Moore) and Ben Skywalker (played by Dane DeHaan) are recanonized | 2.) Ben survives past Episode IX, and finds a love interest to start a family of his own | 3.) Darth Krayt and The One Sith appear at the end of Episode IX, which would set up a new trilogy for the future

jpstudios11 Suggestion: Rey and Luke bond more in their training, growing close like a father and daughter, hence why she adopts the Skywalker name.

autobotsonicfan @lordstarkiller 1. I agree about the Acolyte. 2. I disagree about Kenobi. Except for that inquisitor that was a youngling that wanted to kill Darth Vader. The only change I want for Kenobi is that they make the villain better.
