Do not interact with any of my stories, you are supporting a genocide against the Palestinians committed by Benjamin Netanyahu and his apartheid regime. If you support the Israeli government and its war crimes in Gaza, then you stand for everything that the heroes in this story are against and you are not welcome here.

  • matthewwashere Please inform me of any controversies my chosen cast are involved in. I do not want this story, which is meant to be a fun what-if for me, to be tainted by involving horrible people. Actors and controversies will be judged on a case-by-case basis, and the role will be removed and recast if it is decided that the actor should be removed.

  • matthewwashere STATEMENT: I am Australian, and as such I am unaware of much of the US's history aside from the basics, and what is present in pop-culture. It is because of this that I was unaware that the spirit of the Haunted Tank, J.E.B. Stuart was an actual historical person, who was a Confederate general. Being unaware of this I presumed they were a fictional character, like Jonah Hex, and their connections to the Confederacy could be ignored or altered, much like how I believe Jonah Hex should be done. The Confederacy was, for those unaware, a pro-slavery movement that seceded form the rest of the US when it tried to abolish the institution of slavery, leading to the American Civil War. In light of the revelation of the J.E.B. Stuart's non-fictionality, I wanted to make a statement being against the Confederacy; it might seem obvious but there is a lot of people, particularly in the US who don't seem to understand that the Confederates fought for slavery and were evil, plain and simple. I don't want to associate with such a character, and the fact that the character is a fictionalised version of a real person makes it more complicated than with Jonah Hex, who was also a character who was a Confederate. For the time being, I have decided to leave the role up, until something is decided. I simply wanted to explain myself, and the situation.
