After a mysterious plague has ravaged humanity, we start the film with a country man mercy killing his dog Milo. Milo was infected with this plague, this man, Vernon. Treks into the woods around his house to bury the corpse, along the way it’s unclear whether Vernon is losing his mind, or something has happened to all the animals. Because all the animals talk to Vernon in distorted voices, leading him deeper into the forest to bury Milo. read more

Description of Milo:
At the end of the film, Vernon is exhausted after carrying Milo’s body all this way. Right when Vernon is ready to bury him, Milo’s corpse reanimates itself and speaks to Vernon with a creepy smile. “Come with me Vernon!”
