Synopsis

In 1943, ten-year-old Lida is torn away from her home in the Ukraine, separated from her little sister Larissa, and sent to a slave labor camp in Germany. Determined to survive and reunite with her sister, Lisa finds strength in the bonds she forms with fellow prisoners. Amidst the brutal conditions, she courageously finds a way to strike back in a bid to resist the Nazis.
