Howard is a strange shy man. Spent most of his child hood reading and making up horror stories. As he grew up he created a small group of friends he holds very dear and they always tell him how much he NEEDS to socialize and come out of his shell. He is reluctant to socialize but one day he meets a woman at an Amateur Journalist convention named Sonia Greene. The 2 hit it off and have instant chemistry.
