Synopsis

Kelly Hollister (Emma Stone) has never had a great relationship with Hugh (Patrick Wilson). In high school, he had done something horrible that Kelly still holds against him. And it doesn't help that he ends up as her boss when she joins a revolutionary tech firm as his secretary, of all things! But everything changes when the earth is captured by aliens. The aliens, noting their tech firm's potential, orders everyone to a laser tag match to the death; the last two people alive will be able to survive and live a happy life among the aliens. Thus, Kelly and Hugh decide to team up and try to make it out of this hellstorm alive. Can they do it and make it out alive? Or will they kill each other first? A sci-fi musical comedy with a romantic twist. Also starring Janelle Monae, Mark Ruffalo, and Reese Witherspoon.

  • castingsinmyblood This is demonstrably creative and even if it fails, I can see it becoming a cult film. May I suggest Alice Brooks (In the Heights), Stephen Windon (GI Joe Retaliation), Vanja Cernjul (Crazy Rich Asians), and Peter Deming (Now you see me) as cinematographer? All of them have worked with John M. Chu and two of them have worked in action films before.
