Synopsis

Based on the Legend of King Arthur we review his origins and his connection to the holy sword Excalibur as he tries to free Camelot from the imposters who murdered his father, he will be accompanied by the unknown and beautiful Merlin a mage.

  • otsutsuki The film opens with an unknown, hooded woman who arrives in the kingdom of Camelot, and sees a great sword embedded in the soil of the kingdom, when she deduces that it is the holy sword Excalibur and only whomever she recognizes is worthy of its power, so we know. the young prince Arthur Pendragon who lives on the run from the castle and enters bars, getting into bets and games when he meets the mysterious woman who is called Merlin, they comment on the sword, she says that Excalibur in the past was just an ordinary sword , given to Eirikr, a master swordsman, by the Lady of the Lake. While on the verge of death, he wiped his sword with his blood and soul. Instead of turning rusty, the sword became sharper and stronger as it was infused with the essence of Eirikr. The next wielder of the blade did the same, as did the next wielder of Excalibur. This process has been repeated countless times over the millennia, each knight inheriting Eirikr's will and wiping the sword with his blood in the event of his death before passing it on to its next wielder. After a while, the sword began to choose its wielders, deciding whether or not a person is worthy of wielding its power. Excalibur suddenly fell from the sky and got stuck in a huge rock in the Kingdom of Camelot, where people believed it was a holy sword of God. Knights tried to take him out, however, they failed, when the kingdom suffers a coup d'état two of Camelot's most loyal knights end up killing King Uther and accuse Queen Igraine of murder before being arrested she says about fate that and awaits him, he and Merlin manage to escape falling into the kingdom's river, they wake up in Edinburgh 3 Months later, they were saved by Sir Bedivere a retired former Knight of Camelot, after a long conversation and Edinburgh being attacked by Knights of Camelot , they decide to leave towards the kingdom to save Britannia from a possible war, during the trip we discover the past of Merlin who is the daughter of a powerful wizard but he died when she was 12 years old, and so she lived with a bad eye in her kingdom being expelled and judged for being a witch, Arthur has drastically changed his behavior at first he was arrogant, undisciplined and didn't even want to be King, they discover that Gorlois and Vortigem were responsible for killing him. Uther and carry out the coup d'état sent by greed and another for vengeance, upon arriving in Camelot a great battle begins, Arthur is beaten and is, captured by Gorlois and Vortigem, and plan to kill him in front of his people, when Merlin discovers the truth uses the last of his strength to use a spell revealing the truth to the people of Camelot, Gorlois goes to her to kill her and that's when Arthur finally wields the holy sword Excalibur he understands that the sword chose him because he came to see the suffering that other people and kingdoms would suffer and in an epic battle he defeats and kills Gorlois and Vortigem, while Sir Bedivere and Goosefat Bill defeat the allies of Arthur. Gorlois, Arthur is recognized as King of Camelot and Merlin becomes his royal advisor, Merlin says that when she got into Gorlois' head she thinks he and Vortigem were being manipulated by someone, someone named Morgana le Fay the screen goes dark and we hear a laugh macabre...

  • jakubduda great story, I also like most of your casting suggestions for this film, maybe I would try to find alternative actors for Goosfat Bill and Maybe Arthur but it is question about age, i would like someone older and stronger, but I think you wanted someone younger, so it is ok

    • otsutsuki   @jakubduda Oh yes I thought of enough actors to be King Arthur, I thought of Robert Pattinson, Richard Madden, Henry Cavill, Idris Elba, Sam Claffin, Daniel Day-Lewis and even Daniel Craig (King Uther), but I preferred Aaron because he is young and thus gives an initial and young approach to Arthur, so that in the future the Character will mature until he becomes the great king he is destined to be.

    • otsutsuki   @jakubduda Makeup would be used to age him, but I also think about doing a spin-off focused on him maybe a miniseries telling his glory days, so I could use the young Regé, but I'm still working on it.
