What If Story
After bringing Darkseid to his universe, Thanos offer the ruler of Apokalypse an alliance that involves the two villains finding the items that they need to accomplish the goals: The Infinity Stones and The Mother Boxes. To do this, they send the heroes of each other's universes, The Avengers and The Justice League, to find the items and bring them to them. What follows is a wild hunt in which both teams find the items, steal them back from the other team and have a tremendous showdown. But when the heroes finally catch on to the the villains' plan, an alliance is formed between the Earth's Mightiest and Greatest Heroes as they fight off threats that could end both universes should they win.
