  • mr_blue_sky In my opinion, this should've been what Iron Man 3 is about. After the Battle of Earth, Tony has PTSD from almost dying, watching Shield agents get killed, so he turns to drink more and more. Eventually, he learns he has to cope with it the right way, especially since how can he fight two people calling themselves ‘The Mandarin’ when he’s drunk and’ll probably make fatal mistakes. That makes for a true sequel.

    • mr_blue_sky   @mr_blue_sky I don’t mind what we DID get in Iron Man 3, but compared to my story, when you realize it, it’s just about some whiny guy who develops fire breathing powers that even Godzilla would say needs something for his breath. If they told this story instead, people would probably glance over the flaws a bit more, praising how this film would take so many risks to pull off a decent adaptation of a popular storyline.

  • lorog Yeah, like Iron Man 2, I didn't really like Iron Man 3. It's kinda odd how Iron Man had One Great Film for an Origin Story, but yet, his Sequels are Lackluster.
