  • user_120173 I have a question. Why can't we cast John since he was in multiverse of madness as Reed Richards, and we know that different multiverse variants still have the same actors so why isn't the mcu universe have the same actor for Mr. Fantastic?

    • fancastlover15   @psychoproductions because I am tired of hearing John Krasinski and Emily Blunt being fancasted 24/7. Don't get me wrong, John is a great fit for the role of Reed Richards and in fact a better choice than most of the actors suggested, but he is not the only viable option and yet people act like it's the end of the world if he doesn't return. There are other actors which are as good as Krasinski (for me, Brandon Routh). Also I think Marvel does not want Krasinski back since they have never came to him and only casted him purely for fan service. I'm pretty sure if they were considering Krasinski, he would have already been casted by now.

  • user_156067 I don't think this film will take place in the 60's. If anything, it'd probably be a time-travel kind of movie if it were in the 60's (which, I wouldn't understand why it would take place in the 60s of all time-periods anyway...)
    • fancastlover15   @lordstarkiller I am just relying on the sources lol. There are reports stating that this wouldn't be an origin story and the setting would be in the 60's. I don't undertsand how it will work either but we'll see.

    • fancastlover15   @lordstarkiller That's weird. That's the only way I know to confirm casting. Therefore I can't really help you in any other way unfortunately. I hope you figure this out soon though.

    • user_156067   @fancastlover15 Yeah, I don't think it'll be an origin story either (bc we all know how many times Marvel F***ed that up), but I guess we'll just see what happens...
