Despite being immigrants from the United Kingdom, married couple Amanda and Alec Adams-Auchter are the portrait of the American Dream, living out their days in the suburbs of Los Angeles. Amanda, a self-proclaimed “recovering child prodigy,” made her living writing a fairly successful teen advice column in a British newspaper, “Ask Amanda Anything.” However, even though it gained a cult following and widespread acclaim, she has failed to convert it into an adult career, despite her passion for genre writing. Plus, she has one small problem — if you look directly into her right eye, she can see your entire life; whether that be past, present, or future.
