After Matt Murdock was accused of crimes he didn’t do, Kingpin slowly ruins Matt’s life piece-by-piece. Matt asks his mentor, Stick on what’s happening to him and he tells Matt that he is now unhinged and has trouble differentiating between his fantasies and the real world. Ignoring Stick’s advice, Matt decides to investigate Kingpin’s plan and he later finds out that he hired criminal martial artist, Bullseye to pretend to be a fake murderous version of him. Angered by this Daredevil tried to fight Bullseye but Matt gets servely injured during the fight which results him to be thrown off the streets and run over by car. He eventually ends up being rescued by his mother, who, having not been in Matt's life for decades, has become a nun at a local church. She nurses him back to health and gives him advice to stop being unhinged and gives him advice to stop being unhinged and continue to fight crime for justice. Matt now convinced, comes back as Daredevil and returns to fight Bullseye and stop Kingpin from ruining his life before Matt loses everything he’s ever loved…
