Carlos is an orphaned Mexican mouse who travels the world looking for adventures. A ship accidentally takes him to Vale and Valea, a jungle-covered archipelago North to the coasts of Australia, where he meets a female Australian dingo named Dot who is looking for a treasure buried by the local tribe centuries before. Initially diffident of each other, the pair, with the help of a tough New Zealander-adopted hyena and the spirit of an ancient Native shaman, must find the treasure, while the evil Dr. Kookaburra will try to find it too for his nefarious goals.
