Carlos is an orphaned Mexican mouse who travels the world looking for adventures. A ship accidentally takes him to Vale and Valea, a jungle-covered archipelago North to the coasts of Australia, where he meets a female Australian dingo named Dot who is looking for a treasure buried by the local tribe centuries before. Initially diffident of each other, the pair, with the help of a tough New Zealander-adopted hyena and the spirit of an ancient Native shaman, must find the treasure, while the evil Dr. Kookaburra will try to find it too for his nefarious goals. (Partially inspired by "Crash Bandicoot").
