Synopsis

In occupied Japan in 1946, David, an American military investigator is sent to the Yokohama base to research a number of bizarre deaths. He soon discovers that the murderer isn’t human! David continually crosses paths with Kagekiri, a traditionally dressed Japanese priest who describes himself as a “cutter of ties” that gets the job done against the Ancient Ones. Soon after he met Kagekiri, David begins to face ancient demons, aggressive zombies, child-snatching ninjas, and military politics as he searches for the truth. More is revealed about Saya and her connection to the US Government and the mysterious, sword-wielding stranger who's helping David solve the gruesome mysteries!

Description of Kagekiri:

A swordsman who teamed up with David on investigating many mysterious cases on Elder Bairns killing humans. He is armed with a katana which was made of an unknown material. The sword is said to be a mystical sword, but how he obtained it is unknown. The sword is said to be indestructible and is able to cut through anything on earth. He is revealed to be a hybrid of a human and an elder bairn. Which answers the questions of why he is so skilled and able to go toe to toe with those creatures with ease.
