In occupied Japan in 1946, David, an American military investigator is sent to the Yokohama base to research a number of bizarre deaths. He soon discovers that the murderer isn’t human! David continually crosses paths with Kagekiri, a traditionally dressed Japanese priest who describes himself as a “cutter of ties” that gets the job done against the Ancient Ones. Soon after he met Kagekiri, David begins to face ancient demons, aggressive zombies, child-snatching ninjas, and military politics as he searches for the truth. More is revealed about Saya and her connection to the US Government and the mysterious, sword-wielding stranger who's helping David solve the gruesome mysteries!
