Terry McGinnis was a typical Neo-Gotham teenager, living an average life with his brother and his parents. One night, while on a date, Terry and his girlfriend, Dana Tan were attacked by members of the Jokerz gang. Seeking to lead the Jokerz away from Dana, Terry taunted the gangsters and led them on a chase that ended on the doorstep of Wayne Manor, where they were scared away by the aging Bruce Wayne,the Dark Detective .Everything changed when a new version of the Brother Eye artificial intelligence, created by Bruce Wayne and Michael Holt, launched a massive, global attack, resulting in widespread devastation and the apparent deaths of many heroes, including the Justice League.
