Synopsis

Two months have passed since the defeat of Two-Face and Mr. Freeze in Gotham City. It is now Valentine's Day, the exact day that Bruce Wayne and Rose Wilson were supposed to get married before her assassination at the hands of Arthur Fleck. For weeks, Bruce has been searching for Dick Grayson after Victor Fries used Robin as a bargaining chip to defeat Batman, as he went missing during the final battle, but has found nothing. However, he begins to find himself tangled in a bunch of webs that refer to Dick's disappearance, including the recent murder of Carmine Falcone, robbery of Alberto Falcone's home, and assault on Sofia Falcone's family. As he begins to unravel the mysteries that tie him to things like his fellow business associate Jason Clayde, and the legend of The Court of Owls, Bruce will soon learn a dark truth related to his family...

Description of "The new Joker" (Post-Credits Scene):

At the end of the final installment of the Batman And Robin, we cut to Arkham Asylum, where Hugo Strange opens cell 1989, and stares at the prisoner in the room, who is dimly lit by the flickering light in his cell. Hugo asks: "Who are you, and why are you here?" Before the dimly lit man responds: "Sometimes when people don't get the jokes, the clown telling them dies. I am simply here to replace Arthur Fleck, good sir."
