In 1956, Arthur Curry ascends to the throne of Atlantis amidst political unrest. Shortly after becoming king, he learns of his father's murder by pirates. Determined to avenge his father's death, Arthur discovers that the pirates are led by the ruthless Black Manta, who is intent on plundering Atlantis's vast wealth. As Black Manta's forces threaten the kingdom, Arthur, with the unwavering support of his love Mera and his estranged brother Orm, must unite the divided factions of Atlantis. Together, they confront Black Manta's onslaught, striving to protect their home and secure Arthur's place as a true leader while he grapples with his desire for vengeance and his duties as king.
