The story, which is a musical with the greatest hits of the 1980s, is set on December 28, 1989. There are only three days left until New Year's Eve. So a group of friends decides to prepare in these three days probably the most lavish New Year's Eve party ever to which they are going to invite the whole town! Time is short, they have to choose a venue, send out invitations, prepare fireworks, snacks and most importantly-create the longest and best playlist of all time! Will they manage to do it in time, and at the same time not accidentally mess up the local police?
