The Master

The Master — known at times by various other aliases — was a renegade Time Lord, a power-hungry "lover of chaos" who served as both a friend and the arch nemesis of the Doctor.

The Meddlar

Sometime after regenerating into a younger form and regaining full control over his TARDIS, the Monk came into contact with Davros, and agreed to help him destroy the Thals before the Thousand Year War could begin. He provided the technology to allow the Daleks and Davros to travel back and extended the reach of his TARDIS to allow any Daleks brought back in time to still exist once the Thals had been wiped out. He later privately confided in the Doctor that he intended to lower the reach once again after Davros had been placated to remove the Daleks from time as well.

The Rani

Ushas, better known as the Rani and known more formally as Ushas of Miasimia Goria, or, in other accounts, as simply Rani, was a renegade Time Lady and member of the Deca. A brilliant but cold neurochemist, she knew the Doctor and the Master when all three were young and became an enemy of the former and an unwilling ally of the latter.

This is a variant of the idea that Doctor Who was not cancelled in 1989. Inspired by DaDoctorWhoFan and OpticalSpectre (ESPECIALLY the latter), I have created my own series to showcase my thoughts.

What If Doctor Who Wasn't Axed? (1990 - Present)

The rules are simple, cast some hypothetical Doctors if the show was never axed.

The Munsters (2024-)

While Herman is the head of the household, Lily also makes many decisions. According to episode 44 ("Happy 100th Anniversary"), in which Lily and Herman try to surprise each other for their anniversary, they were married in 1865.

The Meddlar Doctor Who 1990

Adopting the name, or at least the ethos, of "the Time Meddler", (COMIC: 4-Dimensional Vistas) they travelled in a TARDIS of their own throughout Earth's history, "meddling" with it in a manner the Doctor denounced as reckless and counterproductive. After an encounter with the First Doctor in 1066 Northumbria, the Monk attained their moniker through the Doctor and his companions due to their choice of disguise. (TV: The Time Meddler) While they have noted that it was mostly the Doctor who addressed them as such, (AUDIO: The Secret History) they later acknowledged that most people called them "the Monk".

The Second Rani, much like her predecessor, was a brilliant scientific mind whose villainy was rooted in amorality, selfishness, and an egocentric worldview.
