The main villain was the alien supercomputer, Brainiac, and he had a plot to kill Superman by simultaneously blocking out the sun and unleashing Doomsday on Metropolis. The plot works, and Superman is killed.

Johnny Mnemonic (1985)

“Johnny Mnemonic" is a data trafficker who has undergone cybernetic surgery to have a data storage system implanted in his head. The system allows him to store digital data too sensitive to risk transmission on computer networks. To keep the cargo secure, the data is locked by a password known only to the intended recipient. Johnny enters a trance-like state while the data is being transferred or the password is being set, making him unaware of the contents and unable to retrieve them. He makes a modest living in the Sprawl by physically transporting sensitive information for corporations, underworld crime rings or wealthy individuals.

The Great Train Robbery (1993)

The Great Train Robbery - in which a gang of 15 robbers, led by mastermind Bruce Reynolds, attacked a train and got away with more than £2.6 million. Part one tells the story from the robbers' point of view, detailing how the robbery was inspired, planned, rehearsed and executed. Part two takes a look at the police investigation into the robbery, led by London DCS Tommy Butler, as the team of detectives try to identify every criminal involved in the crime and bring them to justice before they flee England.
