Doctor Who Hell Bent (2013)
On Gallifrey, the 13th Doctor has escaped from his confession dial[N 1] after four and a half billion years of imprisonment, alerting the Time Lords. Aided by the Gallifreyan military, the Doctor usurps and exiles Lord President Rassilon. Now the new President, the Doctor learns that Rassilon imprisoned him in the dial to force him to confess about the Hybrid, which is prophesied by the Time Lords to stand in Gallifrey's ruins and unravel the Web of Time.

Doctor Who The Girl Who Died (2012)
The 13th Doctor and Clara are taken to a village by some Vikings. The Doctor claims to be Odin, but the villagers are not fooled. Suddenly, a figure of Odin appears in the sky, offering to take the warriors to Valhalla, and a squad of warriors in armoured suits materialise, shooting the warriors with weapons that appear to disintegrate them. Clara and Ashildr, a woman from the village, are also struck. The squad soon disappears.

Doctor Who The Witch's Familiar (2011)
Clara and Missy are outside the Dalek city. Missy had rigged their vortex manipulators to make them appear to have died from the Dalek attack, a trick she learned from the Doctor; however, the manipulators have been destroyed. They make their way in through a sewer, which contains a number of decaying and insane Dalek mutants. They capture a Dalek using the mutants in the sewer and steal its casing, which Missy convinces Clara to enter to help them re-enter the city. Once inside, Clara finds any spoken expression of emotion or individual identity is translated into only "Exterminate!" or "I am a Dalek". Once they access the city, Missy abandons Clara

Doctor Who Deep Breath (2010)
A dinosaur materialises in Victorian London and spits out the TARDIS onto the banks of the River Thames. The newly regenerated Twelfth Doctor, and Clara, emerge from the TARDIS. While the Doctor rests at the Paternoster Gang's residence, the Silurian Madame Vastra confronts Clara about her prejudiced attitude to the Doctor's changed face. The dinosaur bursts into flames; Vastra confirms that this is not the first recent incident of spontaneous combustion. The Doctor and Clara separately investigate.

Doctor Who The Pandorica Opens (2005)

River shows the Doctor a Vincent van Gogh painting she recovered titled The Pandorica Opens, which depicts the TARDIS exploding. The Doctor realises the Pandorica, a fabled prison for the universe's deadliest being, must be stored in a memorable location near the coordinates: Stonehenge.

(TV: The End of Time) After using a stolen gunship to burn "NO MORE" into the Dalek City on Skaro, destroying most of the Dalek Emperor's fleet in the process, (PROSE: The Day of the Doctor) the Doctor appeared at the fall of Arcadia, (TV: Doomsday) in the midst of an attack by the combined Dalek Fleet of about ten million ships (TV: Dalek) with a "billion, billion Daleks" descending on Gallifrey.

(PROSE: Engines of War) Romana heard of what had become of the Doctor in the Time War from others who had seen him, believing he’d changed for the worse, (AUDIO: Beyond) and later told Leela that the Doctor wouldn’t have such a problem with weapons anymore. (AUDIO: Homecoming)

Doctor Who Time Wars Continues (1998)
Now accompanied by Time Lord agent Veklin, who forced him to use a Battle TARDIS instead of his own TARDIS to make him more controllable, the Doctor rescued an Australian soldier named Albert Brown from the Gallipoli campaign due to his skills being useful to him. The trio went to Carter Baross whose population the Daleks had harvested to make cyborgs. Moments before the Time Lords destroyed the planet they rescued a failed conversion, whose Dalek conditioning was incomplete, Case, as the Doctor believed she could be of use as a weapon.

Doctor Who Time Wars (1997)
When the Last Great Time War erupted, the Eighth Doctor refused to fight in the conflict, instead helping out its victims wherever he could. (TV: The Night of the Doctor) In the Fifth Segment of the War, (PROSE: The Stranger) he discovered a woman named Cass Fermazzi trapped aboard an out-of-control starship, inbound for the planet Karn. He attempted to rescue her from the vessel, but Cass rejected his offer due to him being a Time Lord. He refused to leave her, letting himself die with her as the ship smashed into Karn's surface.
