After the Mega Pizzaplex was rebuilt and declared safe, Washington City fell under threat from the fearsome Shokan warrior Kintaro. As chaos loomed, MMA fighter Cole Young, Gregory, and his Glamrock animatronics sought refuge at Lord Raiden’s temple. There, under the guidance of seasoned warriors like Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Kitana, Jade, Sonya, Johnny Cage, Jax, Kenshi Takahashi, Nightwolf, Scorpion (Hanzo Hasashi), Sub-Zero (Kuai Liang), and even the rogue mercenary Kano, Cole trained to fight alongside Earth’s greatest champions. Together, they must unite to face the forces of Outworld in a high-stakes battle for the fate of the universe, as a monstrous invasion threatens to tear apart Earth’s very dimensional structure.

What begins as a search for answers quickly spirals into terror as the factory’s toys awaken, hunting them through the twisting halls. But lurking behind it all is a greater threat — the Prototype, pulling the strings from the shadows.
