Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, the debut title from independent French studio Sandfall Interactive, paints a picture of a chilling dystopia where humanity’s fate has been dictated by a ritual steeped in inevitability. Each year, a deity known as the Paintress approaches a towering monolith that dominates the horizon, inscribing a steadily descending number — a countdown now reaching 33. Turns out this number corresponds to a person’s age, and for those who have reached the marked age on the sequestered island of Lumière, a phenomenon known as “Gommage” — a poetic erasure where they dissolve into smoke and flower petals — marks their end.

Alice: Madness (Live Action)

Alice: Madness follows Alice Liddell, a young woman suffering from trauma caused by the death of her family in a fire. Alice was discharged from a psychiatric clinic and now lives in an orphanage for mentally traumatized orphans under the care of Dr. Angus Bumby.

Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 is a continuation of the events of Cyberpunk 2020, taking an alternate path to that of Cyberpunk V3.0. The game is set in the dystopian metropolis of Night City. It is set in the Free State of Northern California. Night City is located south of San Francisco around the area of Morro Bay, CA. During Cyberpunk 2020, Night City is said to have a population of more than five million inhabitants. However, this number is suspected to be considerably larger in 2077. Following an economic collapse sometime during the early 21st century, the United States is forced to rely on large corporations to survive. These corporations deal in a wide range of areas, such as weapons, robotics, cybernetics, pharmaceuticals, communications, and biotechnology; many of these companies operate above the law. The game follows the story of V — a hired gun on the rise in Night City, the most violent and dangerous metropolis of the corporate-ruled future.

The Shining

A frustrated writer takes a job as the winter caretaker at a mountain-locked hotel with his family so that he can write in peace. Soon, strange occurrences slowly begin to terrorise the family, driving the writer into madness.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines (2000's)

The story is about a newly embraced vampire whose Sire did not seek the local Prince's permission; both sire and childe are sentenced to be executed, but following a protest by Anarch "leader" Nines Rodriguez, Prince LaCroix spares the childe's life as a calculated move to preserve a state of non-aggression between the two groups. In return they are expected to serve the Prince faithfully, and are set a task to prove their usefulness and loyalty. A supposed Sabbat attack interrupts the introduction to kindred lore being given by Smiling Jack. As the movie progresses, it becomes apparent that an ancient artifact known as the Ankaran Sarcophagus is at the center of recent tensions between the Camarilla, Sabbat, Anarchs and Kuei-jin of the West Coast.

Sherlock Holmes

The Hound of the Baskervilles is the third of the four crime novels by British writer Arthur Conan Doyle featuring the detective Sherlock Holmes. Originally serialised in The Strand Magazine from August 1901 to April 1902, it is set in 1889 largely on Dartmoor in Devon in England's West Country and tells the story of an attempted murder inspired by the legend of a fearsome, diabolical hound of supernatural origin. Holmes and Watson investigate the case. This was the first appearance of Holmes since his apparent death in "The Final Problem", and the success of The Hound of the Baskervilles led to the character's eventual revival.

Death Stranding is an action game set in an open world, and includes asynchronous online functions. Kojima refers to Death Stranding as the first "strand game", an original genre characterized by the game's incorporation of social elements.
