Mortal Engines
A big budget prestige TV series based on Philip Reeve’s cult classic Hungry City Chronicles novels. It will be a more faithful adaptation of the books than the recent film and capture Reeve’s social satire and moral ambiguity. A decades-spanning science fiction epic set in a distant future where cities on wheels chase down and devour smaller cities and consume their resources.

The Hazards of Love
A musical fantasy film based on The Decemberists’ iconic album. The story centers around Margaret, a woman who finds an injured deer in the forest, which turns into William, a young man. They fall in love but are threatened by William’s mother, the Forest Queen, and the dastardly Rake.

Good Apollo— The Afterman
A science fiction musical miniseries that serves as a prequel to Good Apollo. Based on the Afterman albums by Coheed and Cambria and the illustrated book of the same name. The story follows Cyrus Amory, a scientist also known as Sirius, and his exploration of the afterlife.

Cirque du Freak
Darren Shan is a teenage boy who is obsessed with spiders. One day Darren and his best friend Steve Leopard go to a traveling circus called the Cirque du Freak, where they see Larten Crepsley and his trained spider. Darren sneaks in and steals the spider but Steve gets bitten. Steve finds Mr. Crepsley, who is actually a vampire, and makes a deal— in exchange for Steve’s life, Darren must become Mr. Crepsley’s assistant and a half vampire. A thrilling, hugely entertaining television series based on Darren Shan’s bestselling Cirque du Freak Saga books.

Good Apollo
Based on the groundbreaking music of Coheed and Cambria and the Amory Wars graphic novels, Good Apollo is an epic musical miniseries equal parts rock opera and space opera. The initial season will comprise the storyline of Coheed and Cambria’s first four albums, which will be used as musical numbers.
