While our heroes believe they have repelled the Grysk invasion, they have in fact only defeated a scouting party. Disgusted by the actions of the senate, Chancellor Mon Mothma resigned and retired from public life. A large scale invasion begins in the outer rims. With the republic re-militarised it is left to Luke Skywalker to inspire a new rebellion against the Grysk.

Details: The former Jedi High Council member Oppo Rancisis used the dark side energy of the planet Domond to hide himself from the Empire. As years went by the evil feasted on the Jedi Master turning him into a tool of the dark side. Luke, unwittingly, trains in the dark side under Rancisis before the planet reveals itself, turning Rancisis into an apparition of the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Bane. Lukes first hand exposure to the dark side had long term effects on him and contributed to his visions of Ben Solo.

STAR WARS: MARA JADE

The complicated story of Mara Jade is interwoven within the events of the original trilogy. Raised as to be an inquisitor, a weapon of the Empire, Mara Jade must make the difficult decisions that will lead to her redemption. (Unlike in the Legends canon, Mara will die protecting some of our heroes before she and Luke can fall in love.)
