The Doomsday Machine

Six astronauts having just gotten back from an extensive flight to Mars, only to be boarded onto another spaceship capable of going to Venus. The astronauts are extremely confused but are pretty much forced to board the vessel. After they leave Earth, it is soon shown that the planet implodes by an unknown force. The six astronauts are the final remnants of the human race, and they must battle cabin fever, need for survival, themselves, and even an unseen alien race that will do anything to stop their mission.

Who Censored Roger Rabbit?

Eddie Valiant is a hardboiled private eye, and Roger Rabbit is a second banana comic strip character. The rabbit hires Valiant to find out why his employers, the DeGreasy Brothers, who are owners of a cartoon syndicate, have reneged on a promise to give Roger his own strip and potentially sell his contract to a mystery buyer. Evidence shows that there was no mystery buyer and the reason Roger Rabbit remained in a secondary role was because of his lack of talent. Soon after, Roger is mysteriously murdered in his home. Now, it's up to Eddie to find the killer, through a series of twists, turns, double crosses, and trekking through the criminal underbelly of Toon Town...

What If Doctor Who Wasn't Axed? - Dokter Wie: Eindspel (2022)

Season 3 of Dokter Wie was underway in early-mid 2020 when COVID-19 hit. It was intended to start filming in May, with a November release date, but everything had to be delayed. Wendy Van Dijk was set to leave after the third season, and during the delay, it was ultimately decided that the show would end after three seasons as NPO, the company producing it, didn't want to continue the show without Van Dijk. As well as not missing the show during the delay, as well as some other business reasons. It was then suggested by Mal Young to adapt Doctor Who: Endgame to properly end the series, so that is what was decided, now that they had the rights to the movies. Jade Olieberg was also coming back as Stijntje despite her farewell at the end of last season. The episodes this season are: Heerser Over Alles (an adaptation of Masters of All), Das Omega-Gerät, De Pijpen Van Rome (an adaptation of Pipe Dreams), De Waarschuwing Van de Doctor, Het Grote Museum, Het Bloedbad Op Het Zand, Het Heiligdom Van De Biecht (an adaptation of The Sanctuary of Confession), Rijk Van De Daleks, Strijd om Het Heelal, and Het Universum Eindigt.

What If Doctor Who Wasn't Axed? - Doctor Who: Adventures (Jan. - Mar. 2022)

Originally, the third series was supposed to run for 20 episodes, unlike its previous two series which ran for 10. However, Mal young ultimately decided to split the series into Series 3 and 4. But they were produced under one production team and is considered one full series with one full story. The episodes this series are: The Invaders, Patriot, Wonderland, The Great Experiment, Matchstalk Men, The Layer Before, Heart and Mind, The Printer, The Marauders, Enemies of Earth.

What If Doctor Who Wasn't Axed? - Doktor – Przez Czas i Przestrzeń (Dec. 2021)

When creating season 2, Tomasz Szafrański had an idea of making a Christmas Special as Doctor Who had a long history with them, and TVN was excited at the prospect of a Christmas special, due to COVID-19 putting the kibosh on their plans for a rom-com releasing around the Christmas season. Despite special episodes not being all that popular in Poland, they decided to take the risk and make the episode because it could net a small profit. It was eventually shot at the end of Summer 2021, after season 2 had already premiered and ended. Maggy Chan wanted to have it be shot bilingually due to the fan outcry (ironically mainly from Poland) to have it be shot like season 1. Chan saw this as the last attempt to pursue the format and if it actually worked, would continue it this way for season 3. It eventually premiered on Christmas Day, despite Christmas Eve being more important culturally in Poland, as BBC didn't want to risk breaking up the Christmas Eve programming in Poland. It also received an extensive marketing campaign. The plot follows the somewhat still newly regenerated Doktor noticing anachronisms in 1871 and 2021 Poland, and must figure out what is that cause and must try to stop it. This involves going to Pola's family gathering for Christmas Eve in 2021, as well as a small family gathering in 1871, and trying to find a tie between the two.

What If Doctor Who Wasn't Axed? - The Sixteenth Doctor (2021)

The second season of the Sixteenth Doctor's tenure. Similar to Bhatti's first season, this was intended to run for 13 episodes but was once again cut down to 8 episodes. But unlike the last two seasons, it would have a more traditional run of episodes of 8 straight weeks right after one another instead of throughout the year. This was the first season under Mal Young, who wanted a lighter direction for the show after the past 5 or so years being extremely dark. With this, this would be Adrian Hodges final season as showrunner as Young was not a fan of his direction of Doctor Who. Hodges was unaware until after he wrote the final story. Young pushed Espenson and Hodges' story arcs of The Second Generation and Faith to The New Renegade so that Doctor Who can have a clean slate. It also got a new title sequence, and plenty of new and fresh ideas and marketing. The episodes this season are: Rebirth Parts I and II, The Highland Beast, The Diaries of Time, Terror of the Daleks, To Win Them All, and Journey into the Unknown Parts I and II.

What If Doctor Who Wasn't Axed? - Mysteriet Doktorn (2021)

The second season of the fourth foreign adaptation of Doctor Who. Season 2 of the Swedish adaptation was planned out all the way back in 2018, when the first season was also being planned out. Filming was supposed to start in April of 2020 with a November 2020 release date, but for obvious reasons, it couldn't make that deadline. When everything started back up again, there was little need to change anything. With this, Rosenfeldt decided to move away from the Pertwee era, with a wider range of stories. The episodes this seasons are: Sjöens Spöken I and II (an adaptation of Under the Lake), Robotarna (an adaptation of The Android Invasion), Tidsfönstret (an adaptation of The Awakening), Konspiration I and II (loosely inspired by Doctor Who: The Upgrade from Tomorrow but mainly original), Minnen Från Tiden (an adaptation of Leftover's The Memory Sphere), Jordprojek (an adaptation of Inferno) and Kämpa för Tiden I and II (an adaptation of Day of the Daleks).

Visiting Hours

An activist and journalist is attacked by a serial killer in her home when she does a hit piece on a lawyer who defended the actions of an abusive husband rather than the woman who defended herself. She is nearly killed, but is taken to the hospital and saved, where she befriends a young nurse. When the killer learns of this, he travels to the hospital to finish the job, and leave a pile of bodies in his wake, if necessary.

A team of four people must uncover ancient ruins in the Sahara, and it could unlock some secrets beyond our past. But after being caught in a sandstorm, these four people must find these rumored ruins, or else they have no chance at surviving the blistering heat and no sign of civilization all around them.

A group of people crash land somewhere in the Antarctic tundra. There is nothing around them for miles. They either sit and wait for help, or they decide to trek across the barren cold to find some hope of survival.
