Now they will be returning troops back home. This seems like good news at first but this platoon has only a week to get back to south Vietnam. If they fail to do so they will be left behind in Vietnam never to see their families again. Along their journey they face several hardships and through those hardships they grew closer. This is a movie about brotherhood, trust, loyalty, and most importantly patriotism.
