Rome (2025-2027)
The series primarily chronicles the lives and deeds of the rich, powerful, and historically significant, but it also focuses on the lives, fortunes, families, and acquaintances of two common men: Lucius Vorenus and Titus Pullo, fictionalized versions of a pair of Roman soldiers mentioned in Caesar's Commentarii de Bello Gallico. The fictional Vorenus and Pullo manage to witness and often influence many of the historical events presented in the series, although some dramatic licence is taken.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012)
"While I can honestly say I have told you the truth, I may not have told you all of it." —Bilbo Baggins "I know you doubt me. I know you always have. I often think of Bag End. I miss my books, and my armchair, and my garden. See, that's where I belong. That's home. And I came back because...you don't have one. It was taken from you, but I will help you get that back in any way that I can." —Bilbo Baggins

Kings & Saints

Sanditon
The story begins when Charlotte Heywood, a 22 year old daughter of a farmer, meets Mr Tom and Mrs Mary Parker when their carriage crashes on a hill in Willingden. Mr Parker's ankle sprains, so he and his wife stay with the Heywood family for a fortnight. During their stay, Charlotte learns that Mr Parker and his business partner, Lady Denham, are planning on making Sanditon, a small town, into a fashionable seaside resort. The Watsons
The Watsons is an unfinished novel by Jane Austen, which was started around 1803 and put aside, most likely after her father's death in 1805. It has only 5 chapters, and is most commonly published in compilation volumes of Jane Austen's unfinished works and/or juvenalia.

Lady Susan
Lady Susan is a selfish, attractive woman, who tries to trap the best possible husband while maintaining a relationship with a married man. She subverts all the standards of the romantic novel: she has an active role, she's not only beautiful but intelligent and witty, and her suitors are significantly younger than her. Although the ending includes a traditional reward for morality, Lady Susan herself is treated much more mildly than the adulteress in Mansfield Park.

Northanger Abbey
No one who had ever seen Catherine Morland in her infancy would have supposed her born to be an heroine.

Persuasion
More than seven years prior to the events in the novel, Anne Elliot falls in love with a handsome young naval officer named Frederick Wentworth, who is intelligent and ambitious, but poor. Sir Walter Elliot, Anne's father and lord of the family estate of Kellynch, and her older sister Elizabeth are dissatisfied with her choice, maintaining that he is not distinguished enough for their family. Her older friend and mentor, Lady Russell, acting in place of Anne's deceased mother, persuades her to break off the engagement.

Mansfield Park
The main character, Fanny Price, is a young girl from a relatively poor family, raised by her rich uncle and aunt, Sir Thomas and Lady Bertram, at Mansfield Park. She grows up with her four cousins, Tom Bertram, Edmund Bertram, Maria Bertram and Julia Bertram Yates, but is always treated as inferior to them; only Edmund shows her real kindness. He is also the most virtuous of the siblings: Maria and Julia are vain and spoiled, while Tom is an irresponsible gambler. Over time, Fanny's gratitude for Edmund's kindness grows into romantic love.

Assassin's Creed: Layla's Saga Part 2
As a child, Kassandra was presented with the broken Spear of Leonidas, an Isu weapon, as an heirloom by her mother. Because of her prestigious lineage, great hopes were placed upon her to live up to the strength and valour of Leonidas. Her step-father, Nikolaos, would often train her in hopes that she would follow in his footsteps. In 446 BCE the Pythia Praxithea at Sanctuary of Delphi prophesied that Kassandra's younger brother, the baby Alexios, would lead to the fall of Sparta in the future. In order to prevent this, Alexios was to be sacrificed at Mount Taygetos, despite Myrrine's plea for Nikolaos to stop it. As a priest was about to drop Alexios, Kassandra attempted to stop the sacrifice, but instead pushed the priest and Alexios to their apparent deaths. Kassandra was condemned as a traitor to Sparta, leading her step-father to execute her by dropping her off the mountains, though it was obvious he was remorseful in doing so.
