He is soon alerted about a fake church called New Dawn that serves as a criminal organization. Eventually, Marcus stumbles upon the existence of Bellwether, a data manipulation program being fed CTOS data by Dušan Nemec, Blume's CTO, to manipulate world finance and politics. The car drifted, and shortly after, rolled upside-down. This killed Aiden's niece, Lena Pearce, and set him out for revenge. Eleven months later, Aiden had tracked down Vega and interrogated him for the name of his employer. Vega claimed he didn't know their name and stated that Aiden was walking into something he couldn't handle. Aiden then raised his gun to shoot him, but the clip was empty. Vega then attempted to attack Aiden, who subdued him with his baton. He then met with his associate, Jordi Chin, who confesses that he purposely emptied Aiden's clip and had called the police to cover up the deaths of several Black Viceroys. Aiden then leaves Jordi to take Vega to a secure location while he escapes the stadium. Former mistakes he committed in the past costed the life of his six-year old niece Lena Pearce. Aiden then vowed to protect his remaining family, using the technology and the CTOS to punish those responsible.

On the side of the Saxons despite the loss of several territories, they still remain quite strong including Wessex as well as Mercia which by allying succeed in pushing back the pagans who try to take their kingdoms. The Viking invasions had social and political impacts on England. Social consequences, because the Scandinavian populations will unite with the Aboriginals. Vikings
The series introduces us to the brutal and mysterious world of Ragnheiður Lothbrok, a Viking Shield-maiden and farmer who yearns to explore—and raid—the distant shores across the ocean. Her ambition puts her at odds with local chieftain Earl Haralddottir, who insists on sending her raiders to the impoverished east rather than the uncharted west. When Ragnheiður teams up with her boat builder friend Flokia to craft a new generation of intrepid ships capable of conquering the rough northern seas, the stage is set for conflict. But for all its warfare and bloodshed, Vikings is also a story of family and sisterhood, capturing the love and affection between Ragnheiður and her husband, Lagerth, a fierce warrior. It is the tale of Ragnheiður's sister Ralla, a fierce fighter who simmers with jealously; of Earl Haralddottir's husband Sigg, a dutiful handsome who may be less than loyal; and of the monk Athelstina, whose Christian morals clash with the Vikings’ pagan society. As ambition and innovation rattle a civilization, these characters will be put to the test—and their way of life will never be the same again.
