Aliya
The film starts with a street peddler, guiding us through the streets of the fictional Arabian city of Agrabah, which is based mainly on a medieval city in the Middle East, the home of the 1001 Arabian Nights, and there are some inconsistencies in the time period. After trying to sell us on her wares, she pulls out an old oil lamp, claiming it "once changed the course of a young woman's life. A young woman who like this lamp was more than what he seemed: A diamond in the rough." The peddler then begins to tell us a tale, beginning on a dark night, where the Sultana's Grand Vizier, Jawahir, meets with a thief named Ghada, who hands over half of a gold scarab beetle, of which Jawahir has the second half. Putting them together, the beetle flies off, before causing a giant tiger's head to rise from the sand: A place known as the Cave of Wonders. Jawahir summons Ghada to enter, instructing her to retrieve a lamp inside. However, upon approaching the Tiger's Head, it speaks that only one may enter: "One whose worth lies far within: the Diamond in the Rough!" Ghada still attempts to enter upon Jawahir's orders, but upon entering the tiger's mouth, it bites down on the thief, closing off the entryway before instructing Jawahir again to seek out the Diamond in the Rough it was referring to. It is then that Jawahir realizes she needs to find the Diamond in the Rough in order to enter. Jawahir seeks to become sultana herself and become the new ruler of Agrabah.

The man is revealed to be a magical sorcerer who curses the princess by turning her into a hideous-looking beasty and also curses her castle and its inhabitants. The rose is revealed to be enchanted and it will bloom until her 21st birthday and wilt away, which will cement the transformation unless the Beasty finds some man to love and earn his love in return. A decade later, in a small town, a handsome bookworm boy named Beau is seen as strange by the townsfolks. The Little Triton
The film begins on a foggy morning out on the open sea. A ship then comes from the fog, filled with sailors singing stories of the legendary merfolk. ("Fathoms Below") Aboard that ship is a young princess, named Erica, her dog Max, and her advisor Grimsba, who denounces the merfolk as, "nautical nonsense," but one sailor insists them to be real. While distracted by Grimsba, a fish the sailor was holding slips from her and falls into the ocean. The fish breathes a sigh of relief before swimming away from the ship. The opening credits play as the fish crosses the deep ocean until at last, we see merfolk. They then make their way through the ocean towards a shining underwater castle. The castle is the domain of Queen Mermaid and is where she was holding a concert in her name, performed by her seven sons and the crab court composer, Sylvia. ("Sons of Mermaid") The concert goes as planned until it is discovered that Mermaid's youngest son, Artie, is not there, much to her chagrin. In truth, Artie was out excavating a ship graveyard with his best friend, Flounder the Fish. Inside one wreck, he finds a pipe and a fork, which fascinates his curiosity, all the while unaware of a shark watching him and Flounder from outside.

Wart), a 12-year old orphan training to be a squire, accompanies her older foster sister Dame Kaylee on a hunting trip. Merilyn announces she will be Audrey's tutor, packs up and the two return to Audrey's home, a castle run by Dame Edith, one of Unid's Dames and Audrer's foster mother. Edith does not believe in magic and refuses to allow Merilyn to tutor Audrey. Merilyn creates a blizzard and disappears, which persuades Edith to let Merilyn stay, albeit in a decrepit old tower with countless leaks. Edith's friend and fellow dame, Dame Penelope, arrives with news about the annual jousting tournament to be held on New Year's Day in London, only this time whose winner would be crowned Queen of England.
