GODDESS is a visceral, muscular musical — physically extraordinary in its choreography — about one woman refusing the story written for her. The score is operatic rock fused with ancient Mediterranean tonalities.

SOVEREIGN

Set in a fictional West African coastal kingdom in 1620, SOVEREIGN follows QUEEN ADAEZE — a military commander who is crowned after the sudden death of the king — as she navigates palace betrayal, a Portuguese trading alliance that masks a slaving operation, and a forbidden love with her head of guard, YEMI. The score blends Afrobeats, gospel, classical African percussion, and sweeping orchestral balladry. There are 22 songs, including the showstopping second-act opener "I Was Made For This" and the devastating duet "The Sea Between Us." SOVEREIGN is designed for a cast of 30, with a set that transforms from palace to battlefield to ocean.
