The Vampire Diaries: The Awakening

The first movie introduces the audience to Elena Gilbert, a beautiful and popular high school student in the small town of Fells Church, Virginia and her friends Bonnie McCullough, Meredith Sulez, Matt Honeycutt, and Caroline Forbes. Caroline is Elena's old friend and is now her competition. Elena breaks up with her boyfriend, first love and best friend, Matt, who is a football star and quarterback on the high school football team, when school starts. Matt and Elena were described to be the golden couple; he was tall, athletic, blonde and popular, but she felt that there were no sparks or intensity in their relationship, and she felt as if she was always yearning for something more. As their senior year begins, Elena fatefully meets a new foreign student from Italy, Stefan Salvatore, whom she is instantly, indescribably and undeniably drawn to. What Elena doesn't know is Stefan's deepest, darkest centuries old secret; Stefan is a centuries old vampire. He is staying at Mrs. Flower's old remote boarding house. In the beginning, although Stefan is strongly magnetically drawn to her, he holds back, because he feels he will hurt her.

Red Shoes And The Seven Dwarfs

On Fairy Tale Island, a group of heroic princes called the Fearless Seven (F7) - Merlin, Arthur, Jack, Hans, and triplets Pino, Noki and Kio - save a Fairy Princess from a dragon. However, after seeing her green face, they assume she is a witch and attack her. To teach them a lesson, she curses them to transform into green dwarves whenever people look at them. The curse can only be broken by a kiss from "the most beautiful woman in the world", which they believes is impossible. Seven years later, Princess Snow White, the overweight but strong and kind daughter of King White, sets out to find her missing father. She returns to her parents' castle, where her stepmother, Queen Regina, has taken over. She finds a message from her father telling her to find the seven and not to trust apples. She finds a pair of red shoes growing on a tree, which grant eternal life and beauty. Snow puts on the shoes and they transform her into a beautiful slim woman. Regina suddenly attacks, unaware that the slender woman is Snow White. Snow escapes on a broomstick and crashes at the dwarves' house, alerting the seven nearby. They prepare to attack, thinking Snow White is the Fairy Princess, but welcome her into their home upon seeing her. Snow is shocked at seeing herself in the mirror and renames herself "Red Shoes". The seven are all immediately smitten and strive to impress her so she might kiss them.

Once upon a time, in an era when the East and the West fought for supremacy there lived a man with a private agency at his disposal and a dream of a better world. As the two great powers battled it out and dragged others into their war, the man observed silently from the shadows and one thought echoed through his mind: this cannot continue. The world would fold in on itself unless someone stepped up to protect it. So the man looked to his own agency, small but strong and brimming with potential, and said, “We’ll make this possible.” Thus C.R.O.W.N. was born. Many have dismissed it as a modern myth, a fairytale equivalent of MI6 or KGB. But C.R.O.W.N. is no fairytale: formally established on July 17th 1955, the company has been in operation for over half a century. Few know of its existence, and fewer still are trusted with her secrets. Nevertheless, the mission of C.R.O.W.N. and its operatives remains the same: dedication to global law-enforcement, counter-terrorism and the preservation of peace.

Do you hear the cry of the crows approaching? Wars are like life, they come and go over time. But sometimes, in the middle of a thunderstorm breaks out. This was what Ghis’s land needed, a bit of a break from too many storms. So life resumed after the Three Nations War, in a new way: Isbern, Elpidie and Al'Ramil walked together now. Trade flourished, each people discovering foodstuffs of which their land deprived them. It was as if the world lit up in its new birth. I saw the market places swell with new stalls, smiles hanging on the lips like so many lights in the hearts of the people. A new era was dawning, much brighter than the previous ones. But do you hear the cry of the crows? Peace is like life, it comes and goes over time. I fear for my country and for its recently acquired balance. What if it was all just a breath in a sentence, a little pause, before it all bursts out again? I hear the crows, me, in the night. They bring bad omen with their black wings, I can tell. The tide is turning, and I fear the peace is too fragile to resist.

While escaping her home from armed conflict, a young woman named Alma Madrigal loses her husband Pedro but saves her three infant children Julieta, Pepa, and Bruno. In an "Encanto", a candle Alma held onto is enchanted and creates a sentient "Casita" for the Madrigals to live in. A village grows thanks to the Casita, which protects the village, and the magic imbues the Madrigal family—for which Alma becomes better known as "Abuela"—with special "gifts", or superhuman abilities. It is around the nature of the magic's involvement with gifts, however, that Bruno and Julieta's youngest daughter, Mirabel, become excluded: Bruno and his gift of precognition are vilified due to the unpredictable nature of Bruno's visions and others lack of recognition that Bruno is not the one who controls these visions outcome, as he can only see what will happen and can't control the outcome; while Mirabel, despite not being as ostracized, does not get a gift at all. On the day Antonio, Pepa's youngest son, is to receive a gift, Mirabel still gives Antonio the courage to go through with the ceremony. Antonio gains the ability to speak with animals and the whole town celebrates while Mirabel, though happy for him, remains saddened for lack of her own gift.
