I've never watched Electric Dreams before, so I wouldn't know the difference between the short story and the episode but I couldn't think of any better pictures. As for the short story, George Miller curates an exhibit of the 1950's at the History Agency in the 22nd Century and begins to question reality while interacting with it.

Second Variety (1953 adaptation)

I'll admit that I've never watched Screamers before but I just wanted to connect this to something people here might know. As for the story, it takes place during a war between the United Nations and the Soviet Union in which self-replicating robots known as claws used in the war have turned on all humans and created new varieties of themselves resembling humans while Major Joseph Hendricks meets a group of Russian survivors.
