Vandread (If it was dubbed by Headline Sound Studios)
Vandread follows Hibiki, a low-ranking male worker from the male-dominated planet Tarak, who accidentally stows away on a battleship from Mejale, a female-only planet locked in an endless war with his homeworld. Forced to work alongside the fierce Captain Dita and her all-female crew, Hibiki discovers that the two civilizations have been manipulated into conflict by a greater cosmic threat. As he proves his worth through courage and ingenuity, unlikely bonds form between the male and female soldiers. Together, they must overcome centuries of prejudice and mistrust to pilot the experimental Vandread—a powerful mecha formed by combining their ships—and confront the true enemy threatening both worlds. The series blends high-octane mecha action with fish-out-of-water comedy and genuine character development, exploring themes of unity, acceptance, and the power of cooperation across seemingly insurmountable divides.
