Buffy the Vampire Slayer (2017-2023)
A young woman, destined to slay vampires, demons and other infernal creatures, deals with her life fighting evil, with the help of her friends. (One off and short run actors under the crew credits; it’s not about race or hair, it’s if someone can play the part) R.I.P. Michelle Trachtenberg, the first person I ever stanned

Booksmart (1989)
On the eve of their high-school graduation, two academic superstars and best friends realize they should have worked less and played more. Determined not to fall short of their peers, the girls try to cram four years of fun into one night.

Grease 2 (2022)

Rom Com and Chick Flick Characters by Decade
We all know the drill now, but sort and rank the rom com characters by decade No teen characters allowed

College/New Adult Characters by Decade
Same premise as the last two, just characters between 18-22. They don’t have to be students, just in that age range. If any of the high school characters advanced to this point, add them here, but also add some of the new people they met in-series after the age up.

Middle School/Junior High Characters by Decade
Same as the high school one, just in sixth-eighth grade, or occasionally 7th-9th in older works (year 7-year 9, 11-14, however you’d break that down). You can add characters that later went on to high school in their respective series (iCarly, Stranger Things, Girl Meets World, etc.)

High School Characters by Decade
The ultimate culmination of some of my tropes’ posts: all the 14-18 year old characters from film and television sorted by decade of introduction. If their character was featured on a show where they reached high school age before the decade ended, they can still be added to the decade of their debut. If they reached fourteen before the show’s end but not the decade’s, put them in the next decade (i.e. Eleven, Mike, Will, etc. go in the 2020s)

Middle School Books by Decade
Exactly what it says on the tin, books set in middle school. Reading level doesn’t matter, so books like It are allowed, even if they’re decidedly NOT for middle grade audiences. The first book in a series is the only one submitted for that series; i.e. no adding all the Dork Diaries or Baby Sitters Club books. Not necessarily books you read in middle school either (not the Hunger Games or Twilight or anything about high schoolers)

Beta B*tches and Girl Posses by Decade
This is for all the grubby wannabes, the second in command, the backup singers, the cruel followers of an Alpha. In short, the Gretchen Wieners/Weiners to their Regina George. Extra points if they backstab the Alpha. This is also for the fairly innocent but either extremely loyal or extremely dim best friend to the head mean girl. And yes, occasionally, they are a guy, if he isn’t the boyfriend of the Alpha or the Jerk Jock/BJOC himself, but instead kowtows to the Queen Bee. No adding the Alpha of the group.

Slasher Movies by Decade
Sort and rank the horror flicks defined by masked and/or supernatural killers, high body counts, final girls, a-hole victims, and many resulting sequels.

Betty and Veronica by Decade
Another double trouble casting, this time based on love interests. Gender isn’t a factor here, but only two suggestions per work, i.e. no third-option LIs/Cheryl Blossoms allowed. Both characters must be added.

The Glorious War of Sisterly Rivalry by Decade
Add both sisters to the corresponding decades of their work’s debut. More often than not, these sisters include the smart one and the beautiful one, or the girly sister vs the tomboy, or the more vs less popular sisters

Bratty Teenage Daughter by Decade
The terror of the household, hog of the bathroom, daddy’s little nightmare…sort them by decade and vote for your favorites. These overlap with the Alpha B*tch, but can also be her victims. Go figure. Stick to family dynamics in these cases

Wizards of Waverly Place (1997-2002)
The Russo family may be an ordinary family with an average restaurant, but behind closed doors, all three children must compete to be the next family wizard.

Gilmore Girls (1990-1997)
A dramedy centering around the relationship between a thirtysomething single mother and her teen daughter living in Stars Hollow, Connecticut.
