Leading into the fourth season, Alex and Justin are both tricked into exposing the existence of wizards to government officials and a group of reporters. Alex is overwhelmed by her loss of progress and quits; she later rejoins to continue dating her werewolf boyfriend, Mason Greyback. At the conclusion of the series, the siblings compete to see who will retain their supernatural abilities. Alex wins the family wizard competition and is awarded full magic powers, while Justin is allowed to retain his abilities when he assumes the role of headmaster at WizTech, a boarding school for young wizards-in-training. Max loses his powers and is set to become the new manager of the family's sandwich shop instead. Justin and Alex are in trouble and Max only one, who can help them, he needs his powers back!

Timon and Pumbaa rescue Simba, who collapses in a desert. Simba grows up in a oasis, living a life under the motto hakuna matata. Simba rescues Timon and Pumbaa from a hungry lioness and fall in love, and she urges him to return home, telling him that the Pride Lands have become a wasteland under Scar's reign. He visit Rafiki, who tells him that Mufasa's spirit lives in Simba, visits the ghost of Mufasa. simba and his friends fight hyenas and Scar. Rafiki presents Simba and Nala's newborn, continuing the circle of life.
