Two Of Us

Years after the breakup of the Beatles in 1976, Paul McCartney pays an unexpected visit to John Lennon in New York City. Paul is successful and touring with his new band Wings, while John is in a retirement-like state living with Yoko Ono and his son Sean. John later tells Paul about Lorne Michaels' offer of $3000 to reunite the Beatles, and in the final part of the film the duo prepare to go but then eventually choose not to. This was the last time the two met in real life.

Home Alone: Home for the Holidays (2021)

Thirty years have passed since that one Christmas Eve. Kevin McCallister Jr is sent by his successful businessman father to stay at his family's home for Christmas. But, surprisingly, Kevin's family appears to have left for a winter holiday. But as three house-robbers after McCallister's money learn about his son "home alone", an inevitable series of events play out once again, just like thirty years ago.

Eden

In the mid-80s, a space program named Eden sent one hundred people to inhabit a far away planet. Fifthteen years have passed, and the humans are sent back to Earth to be greeted by an overgrown wasteland. Planes fallen from the sky, collapsed buildings toppled over each other with trees and vines holding them together. Three survivors reunite to find out what happened to their home, and expose who did it.

Megaty777's Marvel Cinematic Universe

As much as I like the MCU, I always thought there was enough room to experiment around with some ideas. My take is much darker and more gorier, and the character designs are loosely based on the Silver Age of Comics, but also include some original traits. I'm thinking this would be very similar to James Gunn's The Suicide Squad.
