The Fantastic Four

The Fantastic Four are a superhero team created for Marvel Comics by the legendary duo of writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby in 1961. While on an outer space test flight in an experimental spacecraft, Reed Richards, Ben Grimm, and siblings Sue and Johnny Storm are bombarded with cosmic rays, resulting in each of them manifesting superhuman abilities. Reed is able to stretch, twist and re-shape his body to inhuman proportions. Sue can bend light, rendering herself and others invisible, and additionally can create force fields which she can use offensively and defensively in a number of ways. Johnny gains pyrokinetic abilities, allowing him to project fire from his body for various purposes, including flight. Ben becomes a massive rock-like humanoid possessing superhuman strength and durability. As a team, they operate out of the Baxter Building, located at 42nd Street and Madison Avenue in New York City.

Batman: Alive and Mortal

Bruce Wayne, after a long absence, arrives in Gotham, who is dying due to a violent election for the city's mayor's seat. Overcoming the difficulties of training and preparation, he and Lucius Fox create their first costume, and together with Alfred Bruce creates the mythology of his alter ego. At the same time, a young journalist Vicki Vale wants to find out the essence of Batman's actions. In the image of Bruce Wayne helps Harvey Dent in the election race and in the meantime dispels rumours around him. Thanks to the actions of Batman, the ranks of the Falcone gang were emptied, he teamed up with Hugo Strange and Catwoman to find out who is hiding under the bat mask. Together with the only honest Lieutenant Jim Gordon, Batman will have to preserve the best look of Gotham and protect the reputation of his family.

Dead Souls

Dead Souls is a novel by Nikolai Gogol, first published in 1842, and widely regarded as an exemplar of 19th-century Russian literature. The novel chronicles the travels and adventures of Pavel Ivanovich Chichikov (Russian: Павел Иванович Чичиков) and the people whom he encounters. These people are typical of the Russian middle-class of the time. Gogol himself saw it as an "epic poem in prose", and within the book as a "novel in verse". Despite supposedly completing the trilogy's second part, Gogol destroyed it shortly before his death. Although the novel ends in mid-sentence (like Sterne's Sentimental Journey), it is usually regarded as complete in the extant form
