The future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is uncertain thanks to a series of setbacks following the end of the Infinity saga. Speculation about a possible restart/reboot is slowly starting to emerge. Let's imagine that it actually happens in the future. What would a completely new cast including all the popular Marvel world characters look like? And who could return to their roles? There are also actors and actresses who have appeared in the current MCU, but some would also be suitable for roles in X-Men.

The Hussite Wars
It is 1414 and the Czech priest and reformer Jan Hus goes to the Church Council in Constance to defend his revolutionary ideas. For the journey he receives a Glejt from King Sigismund of Luxembourg himself, who is to guarantee his safe journey. But upon arrival, Hus is arrested and put on trial. During this he is condemned as a heretic, and subsequently handed over to the secular authorities to be burned at the stake when he refused to recant his teachings. Jan Hus is burned at the stake on July 6, 1415. This news soon reaches the Bohemian Kingdom and causes a storm of resentment among the Bohemian nobility and common people. The result is the outbreak of the so-called Hussite Revolution, which culminates in the Prague Defenestration on 30 July 1419, when a mob of radical Hussites led by the preacher Jan Želivský throws the Catholic councillors out of the windows of Prague's New Town Hall. When the Czech King Wenceslas IV learns of these events, he suffers a massive stroke and soon dies from the effects. After the death of Wenceslas IV, the only rightful heir to the Czech throne was King Sigismund of Hungary and Rome, who decides to mount a crusade against the Hussites. Jan Žižka, a Hussite military leader, will lead the Hussite army. This is the beginning of the Hussite Wars.

Xena and Hercules
We follow the story of the heroic warrior Xena, who tries to make amends for her dark past, and the story of the hero Hercules, son of the powerful god Zeus. Both of them, together with their friends, wander through ancient Greece, trying to fight the forces of evil and protect the weak against both the will of the gods and all sorts of monsters and tyrants. Xena is accompanied by her loyal friend and fellow warrior Gabrielle and Hercules by his best friend Iolaus. Their paths cross from time to time and sometimes they even join forces to fight their common enemies. We probably all remember Xena: Warrior Princess and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. If a remake were to ever come out, I would keep everything that was best about those shows. I would definitely avoid any over-the-top modernization except for the trick scenes, the sets, and the overall cinematic scale.

World War II: The War in the Pacific
The Pacific War, sometimes called the Asia-Pacific War, was the scene of World War II, which took place in East Asia, the Pacific Ocean, the Indian Ocean, and Oceania. Geographically, it was the largest theater of the war, including the huge war rampage in the Pacific, the war in the Southwest Pacific, the Second Sino-Japanese War, and the Soviet-Japanese War. The Second Sino-Japanese War between the Empire of Japan and the Republic of China had been ongoing since July 7, 1937, with hostilities extending as far back as September 19, 1931, with the Japanese invasion of Manchuria. The Pacific War itself began on December 7 (December 8 Japanese time) 1941, when the Japanese simultaneously attacked United States military bases in Hawaii, Wake Island, Guam, and the Philippines and invaded Thailand and the British colonies of Malaya, Singapore and Hong Kong. In the Pacific War, the Allies opposed Japan, aided by Thailand and to a lesser extent by Axis allies. The fighting consisted of some of the largest naval battles in history and incredibly fierce battles and war crimes across Asia and the Pacific Islands resulting in huge loss of life. The war culminated in massive Allied air raids on Japan, including the dropping of atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, accompanied by a declaration of war by the Soviet Union and the invasion of Manchuria and other territories on August 9, 1945, causing the Japanese to announce their intention to surrender on August 15, 1945.

The story is based on the Resident Evil game series and it's about time for a really good movie or series adaptation of this legendary computer game. The basis must be a quality script that is faithful to the source material. And then, of course, the best possible creative team and cast.

The company Discovery bought by WarnerMedia, so it's certain that there will be a complete restart or reboot of the DCEU. That's why I'm posting this story here in response to that fact. Hopefully we'll see a working DC cinematic universe soon.
