State of Decay
In a world overrun by the undead, a diverse group of survivors must navigate the collapse of civilization itself. Struggling to maintain a fragile community in a fortified base, they face impossible choices: who deserves shelter when resources dwindle? Which relationships can withstand the constant threat of death? The series follows ordinary people transformed by extraordinary circumstances—a leader grappling with impossible decisions, a medic haunted by those she couldn't save, a mechanic keeping their sanctuary running, and newcomers testing the group's trust. As supplies run low and tensions rise, internal conflicts prove as deadly as the hordes outside. Blending intimate character drama with visceral zombie horror, the story explores how quickly civilization crumbles and what it truly means to survive. Every decision carries weight; every loss reshapes the community. In a fight for tomorrow, today's moral compromises become tomorrow's ghosts.

Call of Duty World at War
The story begins on Makin Island on August 17, 1942. U.S. Marine Private First Class C. Miller watches the torture and execution of his team and is about to be executed himself before being rescued by another squad of Marines, led by Corporal Roebuck and Sergeant Tom Sullivan. They then initiate the Makin Island raid, assaulting the Japanese positions on the island. Two years later, Miller's unit then participates in the Battle of Peleliu. After breaking through the Japanese lines on the Peleliu beach, Miller destroys two Type 97 Chi-Ha tanks with rocket strikes, allowing the American tanks to advance. At the end of the mission, Sullivan is fatally stabbed by a Japanese officer with a gunto. Roebuck is promoted to Sergeant and he and his squad make their way through the Peleliu swamps to launch an assault on a Japanese-held airfield to disable anti-aircraft guns. During the assault, Miller acquires a flamethrower to destroy a bunker and a bazooka to blow up the Chi-Has positioned at the airfield.[15] After pushing further inland on Peleliu, Miller and his unit take out enemy mortar crews so their tanks can proceed inland. They then proceed through the Japanese tunnels to attack the artillery-filled Point, one of the major Japanese strongholds that had destroyed many landing boats when they first landed. This allows American ships to advance, and Peleliu finally falls into American hands.[15]

Assassin's Creed IV
In 2013, months after Desmond Miles' sacrifice in Assassin's Creed III, samples taken from Desmond's body allow Abstergo Industries to continue exploring his genetic memories with the Animus' newfound cloud computing abilities. The unnamed player character (referred to as "Noob" by co-workers) is hired by Abstergo Entertainment to examine the memories of Desmond's ancestor Edward Kenway, an eighteenth-century pirate, father of Haytham Kenway and grandfather of Ratonhnhaké:ton. Ostensibly, this is to gather material for an Animus-powered interactive feature film. In reality, Abstergo—the Templars of the present time—are searching for a First Civilization structure known as the Observatory in Edward's memories.

Assassin's Creed III

In 1760, his mother dies during an attack on his village, which Ratonhnhaké:ton assumes was led by Lee. Years later, the village elder informs Ratonhnhaké:ton that it is their tribe's duty to prevent the Temple's discovery, and gives him a Sphere which allows Juno to communicate with him. She leads Ratonhnhaké:ton to retired Assassin Achilles Davenport, whose brotherhood collapsed years ago, and he reluctantly agrees to train him. After completing his training, Achilles suggests Ratonhnhaké:ton rename himself "Connor" to move more freely throughout the Colonies.

Assassin's Creed II
After the events of the first game, test subject Desmond Miles is rescued from Abstergo by undercover Assassin Lucy Stillman and taken to a safehouse, where he meets her team, consisting of historian and analyst Shaun Hastings and technician Rebecca Crane. They have constructed their own Animus, which they intend to use to train Desmond as an Assassin through the "bleeding effect," which allows the user to learn their ancestor's skills at a rapid pace. Desmond is instructed to relive the memories of his ancestor Ezio Auditore da Firenze, born into a wealthy Florentine family in 1459, during the Italian Renaissance.

Assassin's Creed (2007)
In 2012, bartender Desmond Miles is kidnapped by agents of Abstergo Industries, the world's largest pharmaceutical conglomerate, and is taken to their headquarters in Rome. Under the guidance of Dr. Warren Vidic and his assistant Lucy Stillman, Desmond is forced to participate in a series of trials revolving around the "Animus", a machine capable of translating the genetic memories of his ancestors into a simulated reality. Vidic instructs him to relive the early years of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, a senior member of the Assassin Brotherhood during the time of the Third Crusade. His investigation reveals that Altaïr, blinded by arrogance, botched an attempt by the Assassins to retrieve an artifact from their sworn enemies, the Knights Templar, leading to the death of one Assassin, and severely wounding another in the process. Although Altaïr manages to partially redeem himself by fighting off a Crusader attack led by Templar Grand Master Robert de Sablé on the Assassin home base of Masyaf, his mentor and superior, Al Mualim, demotes and orders him to assassinate nine individuals in order to regain his previous position and honor.
