The Amazing Spider-Man 3 (2017)

Sometime after the events of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker mourns the death of Gwen Stacy as he tries to fulfill his duties as Spider-Man. Peter uses his blood to bring back the dead and ends up bringing back George Stacy, Peter later fights a group of villains called the Sinister Six.

Batman III (1995)

The premise was pretty much the same, with NygmaTech rivaling Wayne Industries. There were some big tonal and dialogue differences. Undoubtedly this would also require a very different visual design take for the movie, such as the H.R. Giger Batmobile. Rene Russo was actually cast as Dr. Meridian while Michael Keaton's negotiations were ongoing, as well as Tommy Lee Jones.

Superman Lives (1998)

Braniac sends the Kryptonian monster Doomsday to kill Superman, as well as blocking out the sun to make Superman powerless, as Superman is fueled by sunlight. Braniac bonds his himself to Lex Luthor, becoming Lexiac and using LexCorp's assets to help take control of the Earth. but Superman is resurrected by a Kryptonian robot called "K.", who becomes a new hi-tech costume while he is still regenerating his powers.

Spider-Man 4 (2011)

The storyline for Spider-Man 4 was going to take place 5 years after the events of Spider-Man 3. Peter Parker was going to leave Mary-Jane and enter into a new relationship with Felicia Hardy, A.K.A. the Black-Cat. However, they were going to be brought into conflict when Peter was going to kill Felicia's father, the sinister super villain known as the Vulture. The planned script ended with a despondant and regretful Peter losing his powers and discarding his Spider-Man suit in a dark alleyway on a stormy night, ending the franchise on a sour note.
