BOND 17 (1991)

A stealth fighter plane developed by the British is stolen on field trials with the US Navy. Secret Service Agent James Bond 007 must track it down before it falls into the wrong hands. This action comedy takes Bond across the Pacific Rim, bumping into CIA agent Connie Webb in Vancouver, encountering the cowboy gangsters known as the Vinelli Brothers in Las Vegas, before confronting Scottish-born industrialist Sir Henry Ferguson in Hong Kong. Bond and Connie enjoy a one-upmanship where they learn of Sir Henry's plan to stage a coup with a corrupt Chinese General, and Hong Kong's future in the mix.

Based on an original script by Michael G. Wilson and Alfonse Ruggiero in July 1990, this story is a first look at what could have been Timothy Dalton's third James Bond adventure.
