Red Monarch (Latin American Spanish dubbing, 2003)
Red Monarch is a 1983 British television film, starring Colin Blakely as Joseph Stalin. It is directed by Jack Gold and features David Suchet as Lavrentiy Beria and David Threlfall as Stalin's son Vasily. Red Monarch is a black comedy based on The Red Monarch: Scenes from the Life of Stalin, a collection of short critical essays by the Russian dissident and former KGB agent Yuri Krotkov. The film depicts Soviet politics and the interplay between Stalin and his lieutenants, particularly Beria, during the last years of Stalin's rule. The reading of Yevgeny Yevtushenko's "The Heirs of Stalin" in the final scene supposedly warns that the threat of totalitarianism is constantly present.

The Forty-First (Russian: Сорок первый, romanized: Sorok pervyy) is a 1956 Soviet war romance film based on the eponymous novel by Boris Lavrenyov. It was directed by Grigori Chukhrai, who also wrote the screenplay, and starred Izolda Izvitskaya and Oleg Strizhenov. The film, a remake of the 1927 movie with the same name, is set during the Russian Civil War and tells the story of a tragic romance between a female sniper of the Red Army and an officer of the White Army.

Taita Boves is a 2010 Venezuelan historical film loosely based on Boves el Urogallo, a novel by Francisco Herrera Luque.[1] Directed by Luis Alberto Lamata, the film starred Juvel Vielma, Wilfredo Cisneros, Danela Alvarado, Hector Manrique, Marcos Moreno, Alberto Alifa. Taita Boves chronicles a thirst for revenge that devastated a country. It tells the true story of José Tomás Boves, a cruel man who became a legend during the Venezuelan War of Independence, the most violent in the Americas. He went from seafarer to pirate, horse smuggler to prosperous merchant, prisoner to military chief. Spanish by birth, he spearheaded a grass roots troop of slaves, mulattoes, Indians and mestizos that crushed Simón Bolívar and his patriot army.
