Be More Chill
Jeremy Heere is just an average teenager. That is, until he finds out about "The Squip" - a tiny supercomputer that promises to bring him everything he desires most: a date with Christine, an invite to the raddest party of the year and a chance to survive life in his suburban New Jersey high school. But is being the most popular guy in school worth the risk? Blending the contemporary with retro sci-fi, "Be More Chill" takes on the competing voices in all of our heads. And ultimately proves, there's never been a better time in history to be yourself-especially if you're a loser...geek...or whatever.

Lets face it, Danny DeVito isn't getting any younger (and that's okay, time happens to us all, memento mori) but this raises an interesting conundrum: when and if the live-action remake of Disney's Hercules eventually enters production, who should play the role of Philoctetes 'Phil' if DannyDevito isn't otherwise available or even willing to reprise?

What makes a monster and what makes a man? This is the central theme of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, a sweeping, grand-scale musical from Disney Theatrical. Based on the 1996 Disney film and Victor Hugo’s 1831 novel, The Hunchback of Notre Dame tells the story of Quasimodo, the hunchbacked bell-ringer of Notre Dame, and his desire to one day be a part of the outside world. When he summons the courage to attend the Feast of Fools, he meets Esmeralda, a compassionate gypsy who protects him from an angry mob. But at the same time, Quasimodo’s master, the archdeacon Dom Claude Frollo, and the new captain of the guard, Phoebus de Martin, fall in love with the beautiful girl. Adding to Quasimodo’s struggle is his punishment and derision from Frollo, following years of psychological abuse, and the danger posed by the gypsies, who are willing to kill any outsiders who venture into their secret hideout. Before Paris is burned to the ground, will Quasimodo be able to save Esmeralda from Frollo’s lust and anger? Will she return Quasimodo’s affection? Who is the true monster of Notre Dame?

During the Second Continental Congress, currently underway in Philadelphia, the motion to declare the colonies' independence from Great Britain, introduced by John Adams, a delegate from Massachusetts, is not debated, preferring to address more trivial matters. Benjamin Franklin, a delegate from Pennsylvania, strategically suggests that he have another delegate propose the resolution. The choice falls on the impetuous and extroverted Richard Henry Lee, who accepts and returns to Virginia to obtain authorization from the state legislature. Having overcome the first hurdle, Lee's new motion faces objections from John Dickinson, a delegate from Pennsylvania and leader of the conservative faction inclined to reconciliation with Great Britain, who manages to obtain a unanimous quorum given the importance of the independence motion. Adams, to gain time to seek greater consensus, requests a postponement for the drafting of a declaration of injustice, entrusted to a committee of five delegates, but in reality the drafting is entrusted almost entirely to Thomas Jefferson, delegate from Virginia.
